Telecommunication Towers

Telecommunication towers, rooftop towers, guyed masts and special masts, fabricated and hot dip galvanised in Lahore and engineered to project requirements.

Telecommunication Towers

Telecommunication Towers, Rooftop Towers and Special Masts

Apex Engineers manufactures telecommunication towers, rooftop towers and special masts for mobile, broadcasting, wireless internet, CCTV and utility networks. Structures are fabricated in our Lahore manufacturing facility, hot dip galvanised, and supplied in sections for easy transport and erection.

Every structure is engineered to the project's height, antenna loading, wind and site conditions, using our standard designs or the drawings and specifications of operators, tower companies and consultants.

Guyed masts

Cost effective height with a light structure

A guyed mast is triangular or square in plan, built from vertical pipe or angle sections with welded bracing, and held upright by steel guy ropes anchored to the ground. Because the guys take much of the load, the mast itself stays light, which makes it one of the most economical ways to reach height.

  • Heights engineered to project requirements
  • Designed for wind speeds up to 200 km/h
  • Guy levels set to suit height and design
  • Supplied in segments for easy transport
  • Built to customer designs on request

Lattice poles

Lattice steel poles for power and telecom lines

Our lattice steel poles are produced in lengths in project-specific lengths and designed for the customer's cable and wind loads. Their high strength makes them suitable for medium voltage power lines as well as telecom routes. Sections are fabricated from structural steel to DIN 1098, DIN 997 and DIN 17100 ST52 and are fully hot dip galvanised after fabrication.

Towers are painted in aviation red and white bands where required, so that they are clearly visible to aircraft.

Mobile tower structures

Mobile tower and telecom tower structures for network operators

Mobile networks, wireless internet providers, broadcasters and utilities all need reliable tower structures to carry antennas, microwave links and cables. Apex manufactures telecom tower and mobile tower structures in Lahore and supplies them ready for erection, with the sections, bolts, ladders and accessories needed on site.

Each mobile tower is designed around the antenna load it must carry, the site's wind exposure and the space available on the ground or roof. Guyed masts suit open sites where the guy anchors can be placed. Lattice structures suit tighter sites and heavier antenna loads.

Specifying a tower

Information we need to quote a telecom tower

  • Tower type: guyed mast or lattice structure
  • Height and number of antenna platforms
  • Antenna and dish loads
  • Site location and wind exposure
  • Galvanising and painting requirements
  • Quantity and delivery locations

For network rollouts we can produce towers to a standard design in batches, which keeps cost and lead time predictable across many sites.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What height of telecom tower can you supply?

Tower and mast heights are engineered to each project's requirements. Lattice poles are produced to project-specific lengths. Taller or special structures can be built to your design.

Are your towers galvanised?

Yes. Tower and pole sections are hot dip galvanised after fabrication to protect them against corrosion.

Why are telecom towers painted red and white?

The red and white bands make tall towers easy for pilots to see in daylight. Towers above certain heights also carry obstruction lights for night and poor visibility.

Can you build to our tower design?

Yes. We fabricate towers to operator and consultant drawings as well as to our own designs.

How we work

How we deliver your project

One team and one point of responsibility, from the first drawing review to installation on site.

  1. Step 1

    Enquiry and engineering review

We study your drawings, specifications or site details and confirm scope, quantities and the standards that apply.

  2. Step 2

    Design and approvals

We prepare or review shop drawings and submit them for your approval before any material is cut.

  3. Step 3

    Planning and materials

Materials are sourced to the specified grades and fabrication is scheduled around your site programme.

  4. Step 4

    Fabrication in our manufacturing facility

Cutting, rolling, welding, FRP moulding, blast cleaning and coating happen under one roof on Multan Road, Lahore.

  5. Step 5

    Inspection and testing

Dimensional, weld and coating checks and pressure tests are recorded, and you are welcome to inspect before dispatch.

  6. Step 6

    Installation and handover

Our own crews install on site with safe working practices, then hand over records and support you in operation.
